Images from the session can make great party invitations or thank you cards. You can even have some updated family photos for the occasion.
The Bronze Package
is tailored around photos of your child before and after the cake smash with no family photos. Your package will consist of photos of your child dressed casually before changing outfits and moving onto the cake smash.

• Full access to my substantial range of custom designed dresses and outfits for your child sourced from around the world and locally
• A large custom made balloon garland and backdrop in your chosen colour
• A warm bubble bath after smashing the cake in my vintage claw inspired bath
• Tea/Coffee/Water and snacks available
• Same day viewing experience ~ View and choose your images directly after your session on the big screen television
• Framing consultation ~ We will discuss how you would like to display your images around your home and design and order your products on the same day
• A sneak peek on Facebook + Instagram of one image within 24 hours of your session and before your images are delivered
• 5 High resolution professionally edited images for printing
• A gold custom made USB presented in a white and gold keepsake box
• Complimentary 5 (same set as your USB) 5x7 inch professionally printed prints
• Delivery of images ~ 4 weeks post photo shoot

The Silver Package
is tailored more towards a family session including photos of you and your child before changing outfits and moving onto the cake smash portion of the session.

is a little more bang for your buck! This includes a family session with photos of you and your child before changing outfits and moving onto the cake smash, PLUS a custom made beautiful montage frame featuring images from your session in a frame colour of your choice.

A cake can be pre-arranged for your session for an additional fee. There are three styles to choose from. One will be in the shape of a large cupcake and will be a vanilla base. It will be decorated with either pink, or blue buttercream icing. The second is an 'Ombre' style cake with a vanilla base and with icing in the colour of your choice. The third is a 'Drip' style cake with a vanilla base and with icing in the colour of your choice.
The cake will be delivered to my studio the morning of your session.
If your child suffers from food allergies, it is suggested for you to arrange the cake to be brought along on the day. I will consult with you regarding colour suggestions for your cake to match the theme of your child's cake smash.
After your child has demolished the cake, a nice warm bubble bath in my vintage claw mini bath makes for some lovely playful photos and also have them clean and relaxed ready for home time. Everything will be provided including tub, bubbles, rubber duckies and lots of fun!

Common mistakes people make with first birthday photoshoots
This occasion will only happen once, so avoid the simple mistakes!
Too many props: It can be tempting to have a busy background with an abundance of things for the child to play with, but simple is usually better with fewer objects to distract the child or the viewer. When you choose first birthday cake smash photography, it makes limited props even more ideal, so your child can focus on smashing that cake.
Not enough time: Getting good shots takes time, especially when children are involved. They aren’t old enough to be able to follow posing instructions or know to look directly at the camera, so it is vital to have ample time. Be prepared to dedicate several hours for the best results.
Single colour backgrounds: While too many items can be a distraction; not enough can be equally inferior. Simple, consistent props in the background can add to the overall effect and break up an otherwise monotonous setting.

Newborn shoots: Your baby will be comfortable enough to display that cute sleeping face you’ve been obsessing over since they were born.
Babysitter: Once they’re old enough to sit up by themselves, I have a variety of baskets, blankets, tiny beds and crates for them to pose in - they’ll gasp and laugh for the camera as I employ my baby-whispering skills to keep them happy.
